Don Freedman Tapestry

Wonderful California Design is hard to find. This fabulous tapestry titled "Following the Sun" was handmade by Don Freedman in 1980 for Interlude. It measures 52" X 52" and is made of jute, silk, cotton and wood. The piece hangs from a wood strip with hooks attached to the back. It retains the impressed "DF" ceramic tab on the front, 2 original cloth labels on the back + 2 original hanging paper tags. I've had to surgically enhance the photos due to chronic over exposure but with the exception of some soiling to the sky above the rainbow the piece is in incredibly minty condition.
