1970's Realistic Deskube Radio

This sweet little modular AM radio was produced in Taiwan by Realistic for Radio Shack around 1977. It is model 12-175. Its clean lines and straight forward, unadorned operational design are the epitome of Mid Century Modern design. The cube measures 3 1/4" X 3 1/4" X 3 1/4" and is in very good working condition with no damage or wear noted. The white bar on the top depresses to turn the radio on and off. Behind it is the black speaker grill. On the bottom of the radio are 2 knobs for volume and tuning. Takes 1 9 volt battery.
