HUGE Architectural Wine Decanter
The huge piece measures 24" tall. This type of wine decanter was popular in the late 1960's. Ice would be put in the indented pocket to chill the wine without watering it down. There is a 1" band of applied yellow glass near the rim top. There are a few inperfections that are the result of the production process (a few air bubbles and a fracture to the interior where a piece of molten yellow glass dropped on the base during the blowing process. This fracture does not go through to the exterior).
