Blenko Vase #6116

This vase was designed by Wayne Husted and made in 1961 only. It measures 10 1/4" tall and 4 3/8" X 4 3/4". It retains its foil "Blenko" label and is also acid etched "Blenko on its base. This unusual piece was probably mold blown and has no pontil. It has rounded corner squares in relief on its exterior. Unlike vase #6923 these squares are not arranged in linier rows but in a somewhat random-offset manner. There is light flecking around the interior of the lip as is commonly found on this piece.
