Thorup Style Lamp

This vintage metal shade hanging lamp is done in the style of Denmark's Torup lamp. It measures 17 3/4" at its widest and is in good used condition. This piece differs from the Torup lamp in that it does not flair out as dramatically and it has a rolled rim. There is a foil label in the interior but it is illegible. The original owner purchased it in the 1970's or 80's in Germany. It is made to hard wire to the ceiling.
