Hand Turned Redwood Lamp

This is a great piece of vintage wood work. Done with curly Redwood burl the wood base measures 12 1/2" tall (22 1/2" tall to the tip of the original harp finial). The old varnish finish has deteriorated and become bumpy. It would be an easy refinish job but I tend to leave these things as I find them. From the age of the hardware and original wiring I estimate that this dates from the 1940's. The wiring has been replaced and the lamp is in good working condition. The only other thing of note is a small indentation to the top wood lip from years of the chain being pulled on and off (see photo).
