Small Carl Aubock Bowl

This solid brass handled bowl is from the Carl Aubock workshop. Aubock was a Bauhaus student from 1928-32. Along with other important workshops like Haugenauer and Wiener Werkstatte they produced some of the most important & enduring designs of the 20th Century. It is stamped "Aubock Made in Austria" on the base and measures 5 3/4" wide and 1 7/8" at its highest point. There is moderate-normal wear as one would expect on a piece this age-nothing objectionable (for a detailed description email). The bowl is ergonomically designed snuggly fit in your palm with the small handle beneath your thumb.
