Copper Danish Candle Holder by E. Dragsted

This pair of copper candle holders measure 8" tall. They have been polished and are in good conditon with the exception of 4 dents to the top portion of one (see Photo). Copper braising can be seen on the seams of each and is the result of the construction process. The plaster with which these were weighted has become loose inside the candle holders. Dragsted was known as a fine silversmith but he did work in a variety of metals. These early pieces likely date from the 1950's.
