Myrna Eaton Enamel Tray
This wonderful enamelware ash tray measures 12" wide and 1 1/2 " tall. The colors on the inside of the tray resemble a drip glaze vase with the vibrant colors swirling into each other. In the center are colored clear (glass?) rocks that are embedded in the clear enamel top coat. This was a popular design trend in the 1950's and 1960's.The colors are a bright yellow, dark blue, teal blue and blue-green. The piece is signed on the back in gold MYRNA EATON.
There are some conditon issues to this piece-none of which is terribly distracting. They are; 2 areas on the bottom of the piece where there is damage to the enamel which do not show and some chips to the inside edge of the trays interior. The worst of these measure 3/8" in length.
