Indian Art of the Americas

This wonderful reference book was written by Leroy Appleton and published by Charles Scribner's Son 1950-first edition. The geneously illustrated book features pictures of basketry, pottery, textiles, beadwork,quillwork, leather work and woodwork by the native Peoples of the Americas. There are 79 pages of color illustrations including symbols used by different tribes. The book is missing its dust jacket and has a 3/8" tear to the lower portion of its cloth covered spine.
