Hand Carved Shore Bird

This interesting carving is of one of the local shore birds. The Wooden body has a painted beak, applied bead eyes and twine covered metal legs perched on a driftwood stand. The piece stands 15" tall. It is unsigned and possibly the work of Northern Californina artist John Bennett.
