Fornasetti "Giostra Di Fruita" Bowl

This is an earlier piece of Fornasetti dating from the 1950's. It measures 1 1/8" tall & 5 9/16" wide. It is in very good condition with just a few light scratches. The vegetable pattern is from a transfer which was then hand painted. The piece is free of chips & cracks. This is one of a couple of series of china that he designed with vegetables (Vaschetta Grande Fruitta Caraca & Arcimboldesca' are 2 others) which are highly sought after.
