Sculptural Mid Century TOYO Studio Vase

This is one of those lovely pieces that defies having a decent photo taken of it. The hand-thrown pot is 8 1/2" tall. The form in reminiscent of Architectural Pottery's early work. The hand painted blue glaze is done over the ivory-parchmant colored body. The vase is signed with both a paper label and the artists chop.
