Ceramic Art Object

This interesting pottery piece has been glazed (or painted?) to resemble a rusted metal piece. It stands 11 3/4" tall and 10 1/2" wide. It is unsigned but may have been done by Mendocino artist Dale Gaymor. From a high end local estate.
