Howard Logan Hilderbrant Painting

This piece is unsigned. The attribution is from the information on a card that was attached to the back of the painting. The impressionistic painting is titled "Interior Fish Shop In 1920" and measures 10 1/2" X 13 3/4". It is done on old artist board. The artist has done an admirable job of catching the nuances of a dark wood interior with the only light coming from large pane windows to one side. There are dried paint droplets that need to be cleaned away from a messy house painter (I don't do cleaning) and a nail hole 7/16" down from the right top corner. Hilderbrant is a Pennsylvania artist who is well listed. I have lightened the photos slightly to make the details more obvious. For additional photots please email.
