This great Litho is titled "landscape of Child" and measures 20 1/2" X 24 1/2" framed. The image measures 16 1/4" X 20 1/2". The piece is nicely framed under no glare glass and is full of imagery. The print is hand pencil numbered 135/200, dated '58, titled and signed by the artist. The artist was born in 1921 and educated at Waseda University were he received a degree in Literature. He showed as a Independent Representer and at the Sao Paulo Biannual in 1959. His work is held by the British Museum and he is listed in the "Guide to Modern Japanese Prints. He is perhaps best known as the author and illustrator of the book "Popular Arts of Mexico".
