Vintage Murano Turquoise and Gold Glass Lamp

This piece is a great example of the quality of work coming out of Murano in the late 1950's-early 1960's. This example is unmarked but probably made by Barovier and Toso. The ribbed, turquoise glass orbs that make up the lamp have copious amounts of gold flecks in them along with controlled bubbles that accent the ribs. The lamp stands 31 1/2" tall to the top of the finial with the glass body measuring approximately 16" in height. The brass lamp base is of high quality with the hardware also being brass. The lamp is in very good, working condition with moderate tarnishing to the base where the clear coat has deteriorated being the only thing of note. The lamp shade is not included.
