Vintage Taxco Silver Choker & Matching Earrings

A nice older example of the quality silver jewelery that was coming out of Taxco in the late 1950's and early 1960's. The design of this set is a rather modernistic interpretation of an Aztec design. The choker measures 16" long and in addition to the clasp also has a safety clasp. The earrings have been converted to pierced. This is a quality set in both design and construction. The set weighs over 22 grams. It is stamped with the older eagle stamp and "Taxco Mexico 925" in a circle around the initials MF.
